Hippocampe Fou is the stage name of Sébastien Gonzalez, a French rapper born January 5, 1984, in Thonon-les-Bains. He has practiced rap for more than 20 years and has led writing workshops for 15 years. His discography includes the 2024 album Présent, the 2022 soundtrack L'Odyssée d'Hippo, and the EP Pas pour les jeunes. His music draws on both Busta Rhymes and Georges Brassens, pairing acrobatic flows with percussive wordplay. He has performed at venues including the Trianon in Paris. Hippocampe Paris is also a women's clothing and accessories brand that revives 1970s prints such as polka dots and daisies.
