Elena Sandera is a Swiss professional windsurfer competing in the iQ Foil class under SUI 130, working toward the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. She qualified Switzerland for the Olympic windsurfing class after only three years in the sport. She founded World Of Windsurfgirls to share her passion for water sports and inspire other female athletes to step outside their comfort zone. A former medical student, she left medicine to pursue her Olympic ambitions and is pursuing an online Bachelor of Science in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. She is based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, and creates content on Instagram as @elena.sandera.
