Di Cicco

Margherita Di Cicco is a PhD student in Sociology and Methodology of Social Research at the NASP school and a researcher at the University of Milan. Her research examines platform labor, digital sociology, porn studies, and sex work, with a focus on adult subscription platforms such as OnlyFans. She authored the 2024 thesis "OnlyFans and the Platformization of Sex Work" and co-authored a 2025 study on sex work as cross-platform self-branding and the challenges and strategies of OnlyFans content creators. Her interests center on the intersection of sex work, pornography, and digital labor.
